Awesome place for soul food! Very well cooked and priced right. Hidden jewel in Mt.Vernon. I love the fried fish, mac n cheese, collard greens and Ribs: so tender and juicy. Today was my first time buying food from King's. All I can say is excellent tasting, excellent servings, excellent price and excellent service.

Best soul food in Mount Vernon. Lunch specials are around $5-6 and dinner entrees about $8-10. My personal favorite is the fried whiting with a side of macaroni and cheese and steamed cabbage. The staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant itself is very clean.
