Dr. Bailey, the head vet and owner, is totally unreliable and will NOT come in if you have an emergency with your pet if it 's inconvenient for him. When I moved to the area and was shopping for vets, my first question to practices was "Do you offer after hours/emergency services if needed?" IThey told me without hestitation, yes. In fact, the business card even said 24 Hour Emergency Service! Well, my dog came got hit by a car and I called the paging/beeper of Dr. Bailey. This was early in the evening, like 8ish. Actually, I called 3 times and left frantic messages. Finally, almost 45 minutes later Dr. Bailey decides to call me back. I explain that my dog had been hit by a car and how bad he was. He was really disconcerned and me that I could give him some ibuprohen for the pain or that there was a place in Lexington that would take him in that night. I called Boonesboro Animal Clinic in Winchester...they called back in 5 min! They did surgery and today's he's great!

If you care for your pet, you will want to take yours here! The staff is caring and helpful. The doctors are real people with real feelings and they portray this in their daily contact with pet owners and the pets. The facility is exceptionally clean and well kept. My pet never got the shakes while walking into the building. The nose knows! The whole staff has a great bedside manner, treating each patient with individual care. You know your pet knows people better than most humans, and my pet told me what I needed to know from the first visit. Accommodating is among many great qualities in this business and Country Side shines in this area. Any time you call, or walk in to the facility, you are greeted with a great customer service person, you are not on terminal hold; they take care of your immediate needs and does it making you feel you chose the best place for your pet.

great vet, honestly cares about his animals. I've even called after hours and he always picks up or calls back!
