Shariff Attaya, MD is a Cardiac Electrophysiologist with Ascension Medical Group. Dr. Attaya is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Electrophysiology. He provides inpatient and outpatient care to patients with heart rhythm issues. Dr. Attaya has a special interest in atrial fibrillation management and ablation, ablation of the supraventricular tachycardia and ventricular tachycardia, biventricular pacing and implantable defibrillators/pacemakers. He believes in a partnership with his patients. His goal is for for his patients to thoroughly understand their heart rhythm issues. Then together they can make an appropriate plan. Outside of the office, Dr. Attaya enjoys basketball, astronomy and national parks.
