The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children s Center, also known as DNLCC, is a community-based nonprofit organization for the victims of substance and sexual abuse, as well as their families. Founded in 1991, the center has partnerships with more than 45 agencies, including Family Services, Family Violence Center, Hanahan Police Department, National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center and Dorchester Children s Center. It provides information on topics related to sexual, physical and emotional abuse, and educational and medical neglect. The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children s Center organizes various fundraising events, such as Wild Woman Tea Party, Fall Oyster Roast and I believe... Golf Marathon. The center is supported by donations from individuals and companies. The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children s Center is located in Charleston, S.C.
