Dr. Jack Hensel, Jr., of Lowcountry Plastic Surgery Center in Charleston and Mount Pleasant, South Carolina earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine after completing his undergraduate degree at University of Kansas as well. Dr. Hensel’s general surgery residencies were served at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and the Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. After completing a plastic surgery residency with Summa Health Systems in Akron, Dr. Hensel completed an aesthetic and breast surgery fellowship with Nashville Plastic Surgery in Nashville, Tennessee, training under internationally renowned surgeons, Dr. G. Patrick Maxwell, Dr. Jack Fisher, and Dr. Mary Gingrass. Serving as a clinical instructor in surgery at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio, Dr. Hensel has associations with many hospitals and he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Lipoplasty Society of North America, a candidate with the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and a member and past president of the South Carolina Society of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Hensel also is a member of the Medical Disciplinary Commission and serves on the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners. A specialist in breast surgery, body contouring, and liposuction, Dr. Hensel has a number of publications covering a variety of plastic surgery topics.

The staff at Lowcountry Plastic Surgery go above and beyond to listen and reassure me every step of the way throughout treatment. If you are looking for a genuine place that you can trust, look no further. I highly recommend working with Dee in anyway you can.
