Dr. Harold Schutte is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and has extensive experience in total joint replacement and reconstructive surgery, specializing in hip, knee and shoulder care. Dr. Schutte is the director and founder of the Charleston Institute of Advanced Orthopedics, along with the East Cooper Medical Center comprehensive joint program. He is committed to the advancement and treatments of hip and knee care through continued research. Dr. Schutte is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Association. He has also spoken nationally on advancements at the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
