Needed a simple waxing for my daughter's wedding. It turned in to a painful 2 ring circus with no apology and I was still charged full price. Very unprofessional.

My husband gave me a gift certificate for my birthday for a 'spa day.' This was my first visit to Water Works. I had a Swedish massage and cut & color. The massage therapist (Amber) put me at ease right away & the massage room was very comfortable. The stylist (Ali) did a spectacular job & suggested an update to my cut that I really like. Actually, I didn't realize how frumpy I had become, but I am grateful to my stylist for tactfully nudging me in the right direction. I 'forgot' to use my certificate, so I'll have to go again!

I went to Water Works Salon & Spa before Christmas and had a great experience. I brought a picture of a hairstyle that I have been thinking about and my stylist showed me how to style it and the products I would need to do it at home. I really like the atmosphere, it makes you feel like your in a big city. I would recommend it!

I love the downtown setting, and the salon is beautiful. I wish it was a little more relaxing in there to match the atmosphere. I got a full set of nails and a hair cut in there just before thanksgiving. My nails looked good to me at first, but then when I looked at them closer, they were kindof a mess. One of my nails only had half the nail covered in acrylic.. I guess it was my fault as the nail tech and I were talking the entire time... I should be more quiet. The haircut I received was more like a trim, nothing special. Overall I paid $95 including the tip. A bit overpriced I think... If it was a more relaxing experience, then I can see paying that kind of money... I'm gonna go get my nails filled one more time and see if it is any better. If not, I probably will not go back.
