You are going to pay. He does not accept CMU insurance for one and refuses too. On top of that he charges the maximum amount of money he can per service. There are people in town with as good a reputation as his and much more affordable. Clearly answers why he often is accepting new patients. To clarify the facts, he has not been in dentistry since 1948. That was his dad Keith followed in his footsteps.

My 3 yr old Granddaughter had her first restorative work done with Dr. Bever a few months ago. Wonderful experience. I have been a registered dental hygienist for 40 yrs, and I have never, ever, witnessed such extreme dental fees-EVER! especially when there is no dental insurance. A 5% discount was offered by paying cash. I work for three different dentists, and when I showed them her statement, they were SHOCKED to say the least. Non IV conscious sedation $140.00. My daughter picked up the medication at their pharmacy, took it with her for the appt, and it was given to my granddaughter in the chair. Dr. Bever was not in the room, I assume he was doing what most dentists do, work on someone else while you wait for the medication to take effect. No chair time lost. The composite restoration, on a deciduous baby tooth was a 1 surface posterior, and was $165.00 plus $12.65 for the Rx medication for a total of $317.65. I showed the statement to our local children's specialist. SHOCKED!

I was looking for a new dentist for my children when my 7 year old had an emergency, the first dentist we went to was horrible and didn't do anything to help just wrote a referral to a specialist which couldn't see him for over 2 weeks. My son even said "that doctor talked mean to me." So I called around to see if someone would help, my little boy was in pain. I got dr. Bever's number and they got us in right away and he was amazing! He pulled me aside to find out what exactly happened so he would know how to approach my son, it was important for him to earn his trust. He explained everything he was doing and totally put my son at ease. My son was all smiles when we left and even said he liked that doctor. I highly recommend the dentist especially for children.

I can state so many fabulous about Dr. Beaver and his staff. I had not been to a dentist for over 10 yrs. His staff made me feel so comfortable. I have been a patient of his for over two yrs now as well as both of my children.

I would recommend this Dentist to everyone! I take my 6 y.o. daughter to him he is very gentle and does a wonderful job with children! I have also been a patient myself for many years. Can not say enough good things about him!
