Stoner Creek Elementary School, founded in 1987, is part of the Wilson County Schools, a K-12 school system with more than 15 schools. Located in Mount Juliet, Tenn., it enrolls approximately 500 students in grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, art, music, computer studies and physical education. It offers a special education program for handicapped students. It has a parent-teacher association that involves parents in various educational activities of the school. It provides a variety of activities, such as drama club, kid s club and school chorus. It offers various sports activities, including volleyball, football, track and field, crosscountry, basketball, soccer and softball. Additionally, the school has a library and cafeteria.
