The Mount Holly Municipal Utilities Authority, also known as MHMUA, provides wastewater treatment services. The authority owns and operates more than 40 pumping stations in over 5 townships throughout the city of Mount Holly, N.J. It maintains nearly 150 miles of sanitary mains that flow to an advanced wastewater treatment facility with a treatment capacity of 5 million gallon per day. The authority offers services to approximately 50,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. Its advanced wastewater treatment facility is comprised of various interconnected plants. The authority provides safety, emergency and meter installation services. Its wastewater treatment plants work on screening and grit removal and flow equalization processes. With a presence in Mount Holly, N.J., the Mount Holly Municipal Utilities Authority manages a staff of maintenance mechanics.
