The Children's Home is a nonprofit organization that provides special education, residential and emergency services, and is located in Mount Holly, N.J. It provides therapeutic and supportive services that help children and their families to become productive members of society. Its residential treatment provides various services, including counseling, family therapy, education, recreation, health, nutrition, daily living experiences, independent living skills, child and family reunification and permanency planning, aftercare services and advocacy. The Children s Home s youth program offers mentoring, employment workshops, community service projects, career assessments and employment work sites. Its thrift shop carries a large variety of merchandise, such as household items, books, clothing, music, furniture and pottery. Its Mercer House engages youths in a broad range of educational, recreational and culturally enriching activities to build interpersonal relationship skills.
