- Primary CareIt’s always good to have a relationship with a primary care doctor for routine care and nonemergency treatments. Your primary care doctor will be familiar with your health history and can recommend specialists when you need them. You can find the primary care doctor that’s right for you here.
- Emergency CareEmergency departments are open 24/7 and staffed with specialized physicians who use advanced medical and surgical equipment. Emergency care is the most expensive choice for care, and should only be used for serious problems, injuries or life-threatening conditions. If you are experiencing a health emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest Emergency Department.

- UrologyWe offer more than 20 specialties, including heart and vascular, orthopedics, surgery, emergency medicine, urology and more. We provide imaging, laboratory and rehabilitation services at three locations as well as primary care at four physician office locations.
- Mental HealthAfter completing any of the above planning tools, it becomes important to communicate to your family members that these tools exist and your medical care wishes. The Living Will, Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care, and Mental Health Declarative also need discussed with your physician. Your physician will discuss the DNR with you, if it is appropriate based on your health condition. When you enter Morrow County Hospital we will ask you if you have any of these Advance Directives (except for Organ Donation), and we will ask for a copy to put on your medical chart. Along with informing others about your medical care wishes and the forms that you have completed, let family know where you will keep the original form.
- Radiology“This is another way Morrow County Hospital is staying current and ensuring that the local community has access to best-in-market radiology services,” said Mike Hyek, president, Morrow County Hospital.
- Nuclear MedicineMorrow County Hospital recently retired its nuclear camera and completed the installation of a new state-of-the-art camera, located in the orthopedic/cardiac wing. Nuclear medicine imaging is a method of producing images by detecting radiation from different parts of the body after a radioactive tracer is given to the patient.
- Computed TomographyThe images are digitally generated on a computer and transferred to a nuclear medicine radiologist, who interprets the images to make a diagnosis. The nuclear camera is different from a CT scan as it assesses how organs function versus a CT scan that assesses how organs look. The nuclear camera can help providers better detect and diagnose various conditions.
