Amenities include 5 picnic shelters with fire rings and grills. The largest shelter also has a full kitchen. We also have two ponds that are catch and release as well as two playgrounds. We are conveniently located just over 1 mile from Walmart and various restaurants, 4 miles from downtown where all of the Mayberry attractions can be found, and a short 15 minute drive to Pilot Mountain. You guys and gals are great. Some reviews indicate that because you are close to I 74, that it is noisy. Our stay was very quite and peaceful even with the number of campers there. The pull thru sites are great. Yall have took extra time in considering split bathroom floorplans. Our site was soo easy to setup on. Our 220 recepticals did not work but the site beside us let us use one of theirs. Thanks for the stay and hope to see yall again soon. Easter Weekend 2012
We have camped ther many times and it is one of the cleanest, nicest campgrounds I have ever been in.A beautiful view of Pilot Mountain, and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The owner is one of the nicest, friendliest people you will ever meet. They are planning on more new sites,a pool,a new bathhouse, more picnic tables and fire pits for the near future.Try it,you will come back many times.
We pulled in last night. The camp is new and well designed. New amenities are planned. Right now they have cable, a catch and release pond and pavilions. The price is right and it's conveniently located just off Hwy 74.
