SOLO is a relatively new business in Downtown Mt. Airy. Both my wife (an RN) and I have had separate visits with SOLO. We found the optician and the doctor very professional and informative. They listened to our concerns and questions - the best we've been to. Being in downtown Mt. Airy, parking is limited but wasn't a problem for either of us. In addition, they have some later hours. Highly recommend Solo Eye Care.

Do NOT go here. What a hassle. The doctor wasn't very thorough. I even asked him to re-check my eyes a second time because I didn't feel he did a good job. Then they closed for a week without notice. I had taken the day off to pick out glasses and the doors were locked. I left 2 messages and didn't get a call back. They are open very inconvenient hours and they close one hour for lunch, but when I asked the hours, they didn't say they close for lunch. I am very sorry I went here and will never go back. Save yourself the hassle. Bad doctor, cramped space, limited parking and inconvenient hours.
