Mounds High School serves students in grades nine through 12. The school s athletics department offers baseball, softball, basketball, track, football and weight lifting. Its art department offers classes in art, band, music, choir, jazz and speech. The school provides elective courses in careers, home economics, current events, library science, drivers education, health, Spanish, economics and debate. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics and social studies. The school has a science department that includes chemistry, anatomy, physiology, physical science, biology and zoology. It has a library that offers a variety of books, magazines, study materials and Internet access to students. The school s extracurricular activities include academic team, student government, beta club and yearbook.
