A unique place for dinner. The Kona Mansion was designed by the same people who designed Castle in the Clouds. The food is very good, the prices are reasonable, but the ambiance is one of a kind! It is Lake Winni as it was 100 years ago. Walking through the door is like stepping into the Twilight Zone! You are instantly transported back to 1900, to an industrial baron's summer home. It wouldn't surprise me to walk out some evening and find that the cars are gone, replaced by horses and carriages! Last fall we brought a group of friends, and found that they had set a table for us in front of the fireplace, and we ate dinner by firelight! You should call ahead to be sure they will be open. If you are expecting the Ritz, this isn't it. But it is clean, the food and service are very good, and the atmosphere is one of a kind!
