This place makes pizza like you would find in Italy (been there had them). Toppings are sparse as authentic Italian Pizzas would be. Everything you taste will be delicious. But you won't come out feeling stuffed like you would at pizza hut. The wine selection is huge. Think gourmet. Don't go expecting cheesy pizza with lots of toppings and you won't be disappointed. (Menu is small)

My boyfriend and I visited Maialina early on a Saturday night for the first time. We had read reviews on this site and thought we'd give it a try. We'd have to agree with one of the other reviewers that said the menu is very limited, that is unless you want to order wine (we did not). Over half of the menu is dedicated to different varieties of wine on hand. The food was OK, nothing spectacular. The service was fair to poor. By the end of the evening we were trying to flag down anyone to give us the check so we could pay and leave. My opinion is that this is more of a wine bar that happens to serve pizzas and other things to nibble on while you drink.

The best pizza we've had since we lived in Italy.

A friend and I visited last night. Very lovely inside. Great service. But not impressed with the menu. 3 small salads to choose from and a variety of pizza's with names unfamiliar and hard to pronounce. We ordered a pizza that came with clams in the shells setting on top of basically a pizza crust with other toppings that were microscopic. We thought there would also be pasta choices and maybe sandwiches to choose from. Too limited a menu. Will not go again unless menu changes.
