It is an approved installer of Cementitious Wood Fiber Decks, which provides a fire-rated structural roof deck with acoustical and aesthetic properties. Barrier Corporation serves the commercial, institutional, residential and rehabilitation markets. It is an approved installer of high-strength, gypsum-based and cementitious underlayments, latex concretes and lightweight concrete toppings. Barrier Corporation also installs coatings that provide multidimensional floors to meet final surface requirements, including impact, chemical and weather resistance. The company designs, produces and pumps-in-place low-density concretes for a variety of fill applications. Its projects include 3 Com, Richard J. Daley Center, Lyric Opera House of Chicago, Three Illinois Center, Holiday Inn and The Rookery.
