      Disappointing chain food restaurant. We have visited this restaurant several times and on each occasion left disappointed. You are given a hint of the problems here by the large Now Hiring sign which adorns the premises facing Davis Drive. Once inside, the premises are never full and the food and service are just so-so. There seems to be a huge turnover among all levels of staff as most of the time none of them seem to know what they are doing. I do not know what is wrong here but it is not up to the standards of other restaurants in the chain. After the last time of visiting, today, indifferent food and indifferent service, we took the time to go to a recommended eatery two miles up the road, a little out of the way but full of customers and an interested yet busy wait staff. Give this Smithfield's a miss, at least for a while. By the way, in this economy there should not be a large Now Hiring sign outside for at least four months when we first went. It makes you wonder, doesn't it?
