- Business TransactionsMedia Law. In addition to libel cases (discussed separately below), we have dealt with a wide range of commercial transactions and First Amendment issues affecting the media. Examples of commercial transactions we have handled are computer and printing press acquisitions, contracts relating to printing, subscription fulfillment, advertising, and distribution. With respect to First Amendment issues, we have handled cases involving access to courts and public records, confidentiality of reporter's sources and information, and regulation of newspaper honor boxes. We have also handled newspaper and magazine publishing company acquisitions and sales.
- Limited Liability CompaniesProfessional Practices. As attorneys for physicians, dentists, accountants, architects, engineers, environmental consultants, and other professionals, we have formed professional corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, and we have negotiated and drafted agreements between physicians, hospitals and health care management organizations, agreements for the sale, purchase or reorganization of professional practices and medical clinics, and related stockholder, partnership, and limited liability company agreements, and employment agreements, including restrictive covenants and retirement benefit plans.

Our expertise stems from our current and past representation of major institutions of higher education as set forth on the list of representative clients and in the individual profiles. Specific areas of service have included faculty and staff matters; student rights and discipline; labor relations; Section 504 and ADA compliance; sexual harassment matters; purchasing and bidding; contract negotiations; educational service, clinical affiliation, articulation and consortium agreements; compliance with open public meetings and record access laws; drafting institutional policies; and representation in related litigation and administrative proceedings.
- Real Estate LitigationMr. Schneider is recognized for his expertise in land use law, including representation of private clients in telecommunication land use matters. A substantial portion of Mr. Schneider's practice is devoted to representation of licensed FCC telecommunication carriers and other communication companies before municipal planning boards, boards of adjustment and governing bodies throughout the entire State of New Jersey. Mr. Schneider also represents the telecommunication clients in leasing and regulatory matters. He also currently serves as attorney for the Randolph Township Board of Adjustment, Franklin Township Land Use Board, and Liberty Township Land Use Board. Mr. Schneider also has extensive experience handling commercial and residential real estate matters.

- Real Estate TransactionsWe normally bill monthly where the fee is based on an hourly rate or where the client has entered into an annual retainer arrangement. For real estate transactions and or for fixed fee matters we bill for legal services at the conclusion of the transaction or matter.
- Land Use and ZoningMr. Soloway joined the law firm in May 1988. His primary involvement is in residential and commercial real estate, leasing and financing, and land use law. Since joining our firm, Mr. Soloway has provided transactional and litigation representation to corporate clients, and public entity clients. Mr. Soloway has extensive experience in representing FCC licensed telecommunication carriers and private developers in connection with applications before zoning and planning boards. He has also represented quarries in licensing matters and in obtaining approvals for quarry reclamation plans. He serves as attorney for the Newton Planning Board and the Fredon Township Board of Adjustment and as special environmental counsel to the Town of Morristown.
- Landlord-Tenant DisputesMr. Molica focuses on land use development and zoning matters. He represents clients seeking land use development approvals before local planning and zoning boards of adjustment. He also represents certain planning and zoning boards. Mr. Molica has significant experience in the litigation of land use matters. A substantial part of Mr. Molica’s practice involves residential and commercial real estate transactions, and landlord-tenant matters. Mr. Molica provides transactional representation to a variety of corporate clients in northern New Jersey.

Our litigation practice, in both State and Federal courts and before administrative agencies, covers all of the areas listed above, as well as business disputes, personal injury, negligence, construction contracts and disputes. Likewise, our appellate practice covers all of the above areas and extends to State and Federal appellate courts.
- Estate PlanningWills and Trusts; Probate and Estate Administration. We provide estate planning advice and draft wills and various trusts for modest and substantial estates. We also serve as counsel to executors and trustees in connection with the administration of estates and trusts. We provide representation in will contest and estate administration litigation.
