Before working with the Tutoring Club in Marlboro, my son was having a lot of difficulty reading. He worked with them all throughout his 6th grade school year (2012-13) and now he is reading very well, close to 150 words a minute, which I am told is the average for his age.

My 3rd grader was behind the rest of his class in terms of reading. I was weary about seeking tutoring because I wasnt sure how effective he would be for someone so young who might not take it seriously. I took a chance and signed him up with Tutoring Club, honestly because I didnt know what else to do. Im glad I did. Now, he not only reads well, but his writing and even editing skills have improved. In September he will move on to 4th grade with the rest of his class and thats all I could have asked for.

Going into his senior year, my sons essay writing skills were pretty weak. More than once, his teachers had showed concern for him. Hes a bright kid, he just didnt understand. After two months with Tutoring Club, I received a note from his composition teacher saying that Michaels writing was showing improvement in structure and cohesion. Its a really good feeling to know that I paid for something and I got my moneys worth.

I think back to a year ago, where I was with my expository writing skills, and it makes me really appreciate what Ive learned at the Tutoring Club. Looking forward to the SATs and college essay writing next year, I feel much more prepared now.

The people here are wonderful. They helped my daughter to regain her confidence and succeed in school. She actually enjoyed her tutoring sessions and never complained about going. I would recommend this Tutoring Club to anyone whose child is struggling in school.

There were no high pressure sales tactics, just an honest assessment of what they thought was possible. We were hoping for a 100 point increase in her score; she increased by 270 points and was accepted to her dream college. The personalized attention was just what my daughter needed. I wish I had brought my son there sooner. When he began his reading program, he was in basic skills for math and reading. Within 8 months, he was out of basic skills reading and receiving A's in all subjects but math. I switched him from reading to math and now he's getting A's in math and is on the honor roll. The directors at this establishment are wonderful people and have been incredibly helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this business to anyone who's children need academic help.This may be the best money I ever spent!
