Marlboro Dance Academy (formerly known as Marlboro Dance School) is the most amazing dance studio anyone could have the pleasure of attending. I have been dancing for 10 years now and I wouldn't trade my dance studio in for any other studio in the world. I have tried several studios before finding MDA and none can compare. I came in to the school knowing little to nothing about dance and I have since flourished into an amazing dancer. I can truly be proud of my accomplishments and I have MDA to thank for this. MDA offers classes of all kinds, for all ages, and for all levels from beginners to competitive advanced dancers. If you want to dance, MDA has a class that is right for you. The teachers are attentive and actually care for your well-being and your progression and growth as a dancer. They want you to become the best possible dancer you can be and they also want you to enjoy what you love to do most...dance! Also, at other dance studios, classes are on the larger scale and you feel like you’re just a number and you can easily feel like you’re getting lost in the crowd. At MDA, the classes are on a smaller scale so that each student is able to receive one-on-one attention from the teacher, which allows for improvement. We love to focus on technique and advancement as well as giving each dancer the best dance education possible, which is what a dance studio should be all about. Also, as a dancer, I feel it is so important to be able to form a close-knit bond between yourself and your fellow dancers, as well as a bond between yourself and your teachers. Here at MDA, that is exactly what you get. This is truly fantastic because you cannot find that anywhere else. We are like a big family and MDA is my second home. I was a member of the advanced competition company at MDA for many years and I wouldn't be who I am today without these girls, these teachers, and this wonderful studio. I had the honor and privilege of being captain of this wonderful company as well as graduating from this wonderful academy (to advance to college) and I couldn't have had a more amazing experience. The owner, Miss Nati, is one of the most wonderful women I have ever met and she has positively impacted my life in so many ways. She tries to accommodate everyone as much as possible and always does her best to make you feel welcome and a part of our dance family. She is like my second mom and I owe all of my dance ability to her and the rest of the teachers at MDA. I seriously would not be the women I am today without this amazing establishment. It has been a while since I graduated high school and although I am in college now, I am still very much involved with the studio because I cannot simply let go of something so great. It is an honor to be a part of MDA and I strongly recommend this dance school to anyone who is passionate about dance or even simply someone who is exploring the dance world. I wouldn't recommend any other school because you simply will not gain all the wonderful experiences MDA has to offer, anywhere else.
