Purchased a watch from Kays years ago with a lifetime battery replacement deal they offered. When we took it to have the battery changed, the girl could not get the watch open and said they had to send it away at a cost of $75. $75 for a $2.50 battery and the $13 total it would take to ship it, ESPECIALLY when I paid for lifetime battery replacement? No thanks. Also, if you are a legal Concealed Carry Permit holder, Kay's apparently does not want your business. Their elaborate "No Handguns Sign" even directs that you are trespassing if you have your CC gun in your vehicle in the parking lot. I'm sure would-be robbers will just see the sign and turn around.

JoEllen, the Asst. Mgr., scratched my watch in an attempt to open it to replace the battery - which they are not authorized by Corporate to do. They had no battery. She could not get the back on so taped it and sent us away. We got the back on at the Kay store at the Morgantown Mall, where we received great service. We also tried to exchange a necklace chain that arrived broken from an online order. JoEllen offered to send it for repair at a price until we reminded her it was still under 90 day warranty. She replaced it with an inferior diamond. Ours was bright and beautiful - the one she gave us was dull. She did not offer to let us select one. She said the chain & diamond were keyed separately so she could not just trade out the chain. She began yelling at me when I asked to get my original diamond back. I said I would call Corporate. She then gave me my original diamond back with a new chain. She gave us trouble before when we exchanged a necklace.
