Children's Developmental Services Agencies, also known as CDSAs, is a social welfare organization that works to offers medical and educational services for children up to the age of 3. Its facilities are spread in various counties throughout North Carolina and follow the guidelines of the Disabilities Education Act. The organization provides referral services for the North Carolina Infant-Toddler Program. Children's Developmental Services Agencies is overseen by the Early Intervention Branch, which offers health status evaluation and interagency service delivery services. The branch also identifies early intervention needs of children and works for the development of individualized plans to meet specific needs. The Early Intervention Branch is a part of the Women s and Children s Health Section of the Division of Public Health in the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
