General Info
Immanuel House, founded in 2007, is a division of the parent company Immanuel Sobriety Inc. (ISI), designed and developed to reach out to hurting, homeless, displaced and addicted men, women and their families. Some, who have been incarcerated and in need of re-entry services. As we implement the overall vision of (ISI) we provide outreach services to enhance the complete individual and his/her family, assisting in the process of transition. We provide housing, shelters, sober living homes and transitional living for those in need of emergency and temporary housing.Immanuel House, a non-profit 501(c)3 exempt organization, is multifaceted in providing a framework that will establish “wrap around†services supporting the vision and mission of our Founder, Liz Reid.Targeting ex-offenders and their families while assisting in the re-entry process to the community at large Immanuel House provides the following support and/or services or works with the individual and his/her family in obtaining the following through a variety of community and government resources as well as Immanuel Houses’ internal efforts: Medical, Financial, Temporary/Permanent Housing, Vocational, Legal, Social and Faith Centers.Immanuel House’s goal is to reduce the recidivism rate experienced by parolees while forging stronger ties within the community to ensure a beneficial relationship that sustains a parolees successful re-entry into society, develops and/or rebuilds familial binds while creating a safer more productive community.Immanuel House has accomplished 3 key goals on a sustained basis that provide for a sound foundation on which to build a successful re-entry program:Safe, drug free and structured housing and shelter.A continuous, respected working relationship with Parole Officers and Parole Offices.Passionate advocacy for residents in need of medical and financial aid, specifically (SSI) enabling the ability to be self-sufficient.
