- Dental ExaminationChecking your teeth for tooth decay is just one part of a thorough dental examination. During your checkup appointment, your dentist (or dental hygienist) will likely evaluate the health of your gums, perform a head and neck examination (to look for anything out of the ordinary) and examine your mouth for any indications of oral cancer, diabetes or vitamin deficiencies.
- X-rays
- Fillings
- VeneersVeneers are thin pieces of porcelain we place over teeth to correct malpositioned, discolored, or misshapened teeth. This new technology can quickly transform a smile disfigured with dark crowded or worn teeth into a brilliant beautiful smile. This transformation can change someone who avoids smiles that show their teeth into the happy smiling person they really are.
- CrownsLaser technology is the newest addition to our clinical system. With our soft tissue laser we can now perform biopsies, frenectomys (tongue tie corrective procedure), soft tissue crown lengthening and gingivectomies( to correct uneven gingival heights or reduce appearance of a gummy smile). We can also use the Biolase laser in our treatment of gum disease. The best part of using the laser is we can perform most of these procedures without conventional anesthesia and there is no bleeding. The benefit of this new technology is faster easier pain free care.
- BridgesDental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap - these two or more anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth - and a false tooth/teeth in between. These false teeth are called pontics and can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials. Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants.
- Root Canal Treatment
- DenturesImplants can be the best option for tooth replacement. This is because once in place, an implant maintains the bone in the area where your natural tooth was and it replaces a tooth without relying on the adjacent teeth to do so. We can also use implants to hold dentures in place. To take loose uncomfortable dentures and anchor them in place to bite and chew in comfort, is one of the most successful uses for implants.
- Dental ImplantsWe offer dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). It is a special type of x-ray equipment used when regular dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient. The doctor may use this technology to produce three dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan. Images obtained with CBCT allow for more precise treatment planning especially with implants.
- Orthodontics
- Teeth WhiteningWe have chosen the Zoom Chairside Whitening system for our same day whitening procedure. The procedure is simple. It begins with a short preparation to cover your lips and gums, leaving only your teeth exposed. Then the Zoom whitening gel is applied and exposed to the Zoom lamp for four 15 minute sessions. The whole appointment takes about 2 hours and you will leave with your new bright smile.
