I hate feeling like a criminal going in there! Don't have a bad hair day and have to remove your ball cap! How embarrassing! I get its for safety but it can be a pain. Other than that, I like using them as my shared branch.

Ive been with Visterra CU for 10 years now. They have always treated me as a person and not a number. I appreciate their constant professionalism and customer service.

1. When you deposit your checks outside at the ATM machine during business hours, your money is not available the next day. It takes one more day at least for them to allow your funds to be available. Reason? They have a subcontractor to operate the ATM machines. Unbelievable! 2. Pay bill service online is a disaster. It looks like they are waiting for you to fail and charge you a penalty fee. I used to schedule payments online but see what they do: when you have funds in your account they send the payment in the afternoon. No problem. Now when you for any reason forget about the payment and don't have enough funds they send the payment early in the morning to charge you a fee. 3. Poor service.

I have been with Visterra since it was March Credit Union. I have had nothing but great praises. Customer service on the phone or in the bank has been a pleasure. The drive through and hours of operation is vry convenient verses other banks. How many banks do you know are open on saturdays!? Most importantly my husband recently was a victim of skimming. That is when you use your card and someone copies it and uses it. The banks amazing fraud department saw the unusually transactions and within less than 24 hrs they closed his card and immediately notified us in case it was a mistake. It wasn't, these criminals could have taken so much money. They even reimburst us so quickly and painlessly as possible. This is an amazing bank and we feel safe knowing that our money is secure with them.

We've had accounts and home loans with Visterra Credit Union since the seventies when it was March Air Force Credit Union. Our experience has been entirely positive over the decades, We could not be happier, and we have nothing but high praise for this organization. And in case you are wondering, we have no business or family ties to Visterra. We don't know anyone who works there. This is a just a note from a very satisfied customer.
Had a very bad experience with this group. I filled out an application on line 3 weeks ago, but when I got to the very end of the application, it rejected me. I called to find out why and was told that it was a minor glitch in the system and that they would fix it and get back to me within a day. I waited about 3 or 4 days but nobody got back to me. I called to find out why but was told that they couldn't discuss it over the phone, and that i would need to come in with ID. I came in with ID but they told me that there were 4 people waiting and that it might be about an hour wait. I couldn't wait that long so i returned the next day. When I came back the next day, i waited about 40 minutes. When the guy brought me to his cubical, he could not locate my application and asked me for my social. When I gave him that, he told me that the application would need to be filled out all over again. About ready to explode, I picked up my ID and left. Incompetence to the fullest degree!

Visterra looks like a great from the outside but once you walk inside to do any transactions its horrible! It starts from the workers at the front desk always rude to all the member. The new account wait is rediculous! The teller line is never friendly. I have spoken to their managers too, as a member of this credit union I feel like their managers have not had enough training and mayber they (Visterra) should clean out house starting with the poor management at the main branch.
