dickies , good, cheap bbq eats! even on their worst day they are still better than wes ribs in providence

I have lived in the South for nearly a decade and moved back home 2.5 years ago. The one thing that I have missed tremendously has been GOOD Southern BBQ. Not anymore!! Had the pulled pork plate with slaw and beans and it is FANTASTIC! The meat is tender, beans just the right amount of spice and slaw is perfect. Close my eyes and I'm back in Memphis enjoying awesome BBQ.

I am from the SOUTH and this is not real southern BBQ! 1st-potato salad nor BBQ baked bean should not come out of a jug or can! 2nd-Anything that is "smoked" should have a smoke ring, nothing we ate (ribs, pulled pork or brisket) had had the "smoke ring". 3rd-there really should be enough places to sit, not just a few table and then a couple really long table for people to stand and eat, no chance would you find that down south!! 4th-BBQ sauce was way to sweet. 5th-the only thing I can say that was good to eat was the baked potate casserole, that is about the only thing that was good to eat there. I really hope the food there gets better. Because I really do miss my southern BBQ.
