Established in 1952, George C. Baker Elementary School operates under Moorestown Public School District. It is located in Moorestown, N.J., and offers educational programs to more than 440 students in prekindergarten through grade three. Its building consists of more than 20 classrooms and a modern library and technology center. The schools academic curriculum includes English, language arts, fine arts, performing arts, science, mathematics, social science and physical education. The school has various employees, including faculty members, reading specialists, custodians, cafeteria staffs, speech and language therapists, school nurses and paraprofessionals. It offers various extracurricular, community and fun activities for students, such as picture day, Halloween and Christmas celebration, cheerleading, garden club, sports and games. It supports the Home and School Association that is a district wide association of parents, faculty, administrators and students.
