General Info

Dr. Kaufman practices in our Montrose office. He joined Northeastern Eye Institute in 2000. He has practiced at Montrose Eye Associates since 1973. Dr. Kaufman completed his undergraduate studies at Brooklyn College of CUNY and his graduate work at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Physiological Optics, and received his doctor of optometry degree in 1971. Dr. Kaufman did his residency training at the SUNY College of Optometry Optometric Center in New York City. He was appointed to the attending staff at the SUNY Clinic in 1971 and practiced there until his move to Montrose, PA in 1973. He is currently on staff at Endless Mountains Health Systems in Montrose, and Barnes-Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna. He is licensed to practice in New York State and New Jersey as well as Pennsylvania, and is a 30-year member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
