Located in the heart of Western Colorado’s Uncompahgre Valley, the Valley Food Partnership is a small group of dedicated volunteers who are working together to grow a healthy community by connecting local farms to local forks. The Valley Food Partnership strives to improve the health of all community members and invigorate the economy by expanding access to locally grown foods. As a mission driven organization, the Valley Food Partnership is committed to working together to grow a healthy community by connecting local farms to forks. LiveWell Montrose Olathe's mission is: To empower the community to improve its health through education and increased access to locally grown nutritious food. To encourage active living through education and positive changes to policy and infrastructure. To empower workplaces to offer an environment encouraging participation in wellness that includes physical and emotional health, healthy eating, and active living. To create a culture of healthy young people by providing an enriching environment that promotes and builds opportunities for nutritional wellness and active bodies.
