Operational since 1964, Midwestern Colorado Mental Health Center is an organization that provides behavioral health services to Delta, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, Ouray and San Miguel counties. Located in Montrose, Colo., the center provides services in psychiatric, individual and group therapy, peer services, support groups, medication management, intensive case management and educational opportunities. Additionally, it provides substance abuse, suicide prevention and emergency services, such as emergency mental health, alcohol commitments and crisis intervention. Midwestern Colorado Mental Health Center caters to children, adults, youths as well as seniors.
