Website and on-site both said $35/night for RV, but when we paid, found out site was now $42. Already hooked up, so we paid... in cash. Even though we held a reservation with credit, only cash or check were permitted. Next time, we'll stay elsewhere for same price using our credit card. Be fore-warned.
This was by far the worst, most unprofessional place we have ever stayed. We stayed in a cabin, there wasn't even soap in the bathroom to wash our hands. They were very dirty, spider webs everywhere! We were checked in by some very nice people on the first day, but on the second day we were sitting outside our cabin when the owner of the place drove up to us and was asking all sorts of questions about who is staying in what cabin. We answered that 3 of us, my wife and I and our 9 year old child. She said that our daughter was not on the reservation and demanded that we pay an extra $5 for each day that we were staying because our daughter flushes the toilet. Originally we told them that there would be 3 of us, and the couple that checked us in saw all 3 of us and never said anything upon checking in. So, we refused to pay them based on their error of not writing down that there would be all 3 staying in this room. I am also a wounded Vet, I have lost both of my legs serving in Iraq and I have a service dog. The owner "Pat" (she didn't want to give us her real name) Told us that she would not have allowed us to bring my service dog, she told us that she would have had no vacancy, that all dogs were not allowed, not even a service dog. We told her of the service dog laws, and she then cussed us out and told us we were never welcome there again. I told her that we would never come back again! She was such a nightmare to deal with and I would never recommend this place to anyone! So, when we arrived, our cabin was dirty, no soap and there was no hot water to use, their bed was so hard we had to use a pillow under us so we could actually sleep. There was thousands of bugs in our room as well. It was awful! Don't waist your money on this crappy place! Less than a 1 star rating.
