On the site of decades of various small groceries, this store has brought it to a whole new level. Their stock is very high quality and very diverse...even gourmet. But it hasn't neglected all those common things you need to grab on the way home. Their meats and fish are the best and they have an email letter which has tons of delicious recipes. When we go to shop there, we often do not know what we want as in most stores, but we get tons of ideas when we look around. We're always trying new foods and they have great suggestions.

great little market, beautiful fresh fish, great prepared entrees (try their lasagna!), nice wine selection and a lot of different grocery items, really nice family feel to the whole place. Bought a couple of steaks that were terrific, lucky Montpelier!
