Provided by YP.comBe prepared to stand there and listen. Do not try to interject with any thoughts or ideas. Any attempt to discuss something or express any opinion will be met with condescension and anger.
At least one of the people that works there is extremely condescending and gets very upset if you even try to interrupt him with a thought or clarification. Not a very good experience, I would suggest trying somewhere else where the staff is more helpful and friendly. Or just ignore the attitude and get whatever you need to buy.

Provided by YP.comThis business clearly prefers to deal with men only. Don't both asking questions, particularly if it could be construed as questioning their recommendation even if it conflicts with the manufacturer's instructions. They are rude and condescending. They even pulled out the stove owner's manual to try to prove their point and when it proved MY point, they discounted the manufacturer's manual saying that they can't help it if the manufacturer is wrong -- WHAT?! The salesman said that they would have already "counseled" me if I had bought my stove from them. Considering that the stove was installed prior to my purchasing the home, I apparently missed out on their "counseling" opportunity. When I do consider a new purchase, it will certainly NOT be from these chauvinist jerks -- I'll get my "counseling" somewhere else.

Provided by YP.comHorrible service! Went in to buy gas insert and or new stove. First I couldn't get someone to help me and when I did, he wasn't helpful. I asked for information to take with me to share with my husband and he said I should send my husband in. Not the way to treat a customer. Also, my parents pre-ordered coal for the winter season. When the went to get it someone had sold it. This was several weeks ago and Montpelier Stove works can't seem to get the coal back in for my elderly parents who pre-ordered this summer. Don't even stop in, they are a waste of your time. So disappointed.

Provided by YP.comIf you want to pay top dollar for absolutley no service go here. They were more than glad to pick up my wood burning stove, give me an estimate of approx. 1000.00 for resealing and glass replacement. They then held onto from mid August till the close to the end of September. When I finally called it was to find out nothing had been done. I pleaded as this is my main heat source and I have renters coming for foliage season and the manager refused to be helpful. He gladly offered to drop it back off free of charge. After he did so he called chuckling to tell me that it was back in my home not hooked up because it would have been in code violation. So if you like extremely poor slow service this would be your best bet! I only clicked a star because YP makes you!
