Located in Montpelier, Vt., Main Street Middle School operates under the Montpelier Public Schools district, and offers classes from grades six through eight. The school enrolls more than 250 students every year, and employs over 25 teachers. Its curriculum provides a wide range of subjects, including mathematics, science, language arts, social studies and English. Main Street Middle School also offers a wide range of facilities and services, such as food and transportation services, laboratories, and a fully stocked library. The school organizes a variety of extracurricular activities and events, including debates, dance programs, field trips, community activities and athletics. It has a parent-teacher association that supports and participates in various school events and activities. Montpelier Public Schools also operates other schools, such as Montpelier High School and Union Elementary School.
