this is a very good veterinary service. we take both our dog and cat there. they are a very clean place and are very good with the animals. i reccomend them to anyone.

You will find nothing but caring, compassionate service from Lakeside Veterinary Services. Dr's Hawkworth and Ohlinger are wonderful. Dr. Hawksworth made a terrible situation a bit easier to withstand. Very grateful that they brought their practice to Montour Falls.

Drs, Martha and Margaret at Lakeside Veterinary Services in Montour Falls are two of the most competent, compassionate, and caring individuals I have come across in my lifetime and I recommend Lakeside unconditionally. The care Dr. Martha showed towards our sweet "Kissee" was unparalleled and awesome! We are devastated by the loss of our Kissee, but I cannot say enough about Dr. Martha or the services provided by these two women. We have had our share of pets over the years as well as Vets, but none of whom were kinder, more thoughtful, and caring than Drs. Martha and Margaret. The Watkins Glen and Montour Falls communities are most fortunate to have them. Martha Hawksworth is the most competent, compassionate vet around. She is caring and considerate with my pet and with me - which is a big plus. I trust her to make sound judgements and to care for my dog as if it were her own.

Caring and knowledgeable veterinary care; the availability of accupuncture is a big plus. I've needed both scheduled treatment (i.e. a check-up) and unscheduled emergency care for my dog and am 100%+ happy.

I couldn't begin to describe how wonderful of veterinary services I have had over the YEARS of having Margaret as our veternarian (even though in the past we've had some bad news given to us by her which was our beloved, now deceased Rottweiler Lexie having cancer) she's been seeing my family's animals ever since I could remember, so when I got my own dog, there was not another vet I would see. She drove up (even though it was a little more) to see my freshly adopted dog who was terrified of riding in the car, she was able to diagnose my dog's mysterious hair loss, and welcomes customers in to the shop to just as questions (I'm a new dog owner, so it's nothing but questions, questions, questions and she's always open to answer them) she helped us by spaying and neutering two stray kittens that needed a home, and helped my parents get the stray dog they took in spayed and vaccinated at a low price. They get 10 out of 5 stars all the way!! If you want someone who will remember your animals even after they have passed (our spawn of the devil cat Willie who we needed oven mitts to hold down while he got his shots) you need to see Margaret and everyone at Lakeside Vet.
