- VaccinationYour dog or cat does not need to be a veterinary patient to stay at our facility. However, we do require proof of current vaccinations and parasite free exam for all boarding pets. This is for their safety and the safety of other pets. For your convenience, medical procedures and examinations can be scheduled for your pet while they board with us.

- Veterinary SurgeryDr. Will Carter graduated from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing large and small animal medicine in the Montgomery area since 2003. In 2005, he purchased Snwodoun Veterinary Hospital, which was originally opened by Dr. Winston Pirtle in the 1970's. Dr. Carter and his wife Monnie Carol have two children, Sarah Beth and Merritt. The family has four dogs; Sage, Traveler, Cookie, and Trip, as well as one cat, Barney and a commercial beef cattle operation. Dr. Carter enjoys the challenges and the variety that mixed animal practice offers. He particularly enjoys small animal surgery and herd health medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association, the Society for Theriogenology. He is an active member of the Farmers' Federation Board and First United Methodist Church of Montgomery. Dr. Carter enjoys working on the family cattle farm and watching his children enjoy their many extracurricular activities.

- Laboratory ServicesFor our small animal friends we offer wellness exams, surgical services, dental care, and vaccinations. We have a fully stocked pharmacy for your convenience as well as an in-house laboratory to speed up diagnosis and treatment if your pet becomes sick. Large animal services include routine vaccinations, medical care and surgical services. We have equine and cattle handling facilities on site or we can provide farm-call services for your convenience.
