Alabama Department of Revenue provides state income, business, sales, property and motor vehicle tax forms and information. It has many divisions, including collections, human resources, corporate tax, motor vehicle and property tax. Its tax policy division serves as a centralized source for determining, coordinating and communicating major tax issues in Alabama. It taxpayer advocacy division has been established to identify systemic problems and provide suggestions for improvement in tax procedures. Alabama Department of Revenue is located in the state capital of Montgomery, Ala.
