Please be very careful when dealing with this doctor. He has a tendency to overcharge for services performed. I had a simple consultation and I was told I needed surgery. I then consulted a 2nd doctor for the same problem. The second doctor charged $50 more for a complete procedure performed without surgery in his office. This doctor overcharged for a simple consultation. After receiving insurance payment, he wanted to be paid for a deductible that was applied to his charges. I felt that he had been paid adequately for the service he had performed (basically checked my hand visually.) After writing a letter to explain why I felt I shouldn't be charged, he never responded and then sent the account to collection when I wouldn't pay. Bottom line is make sure you really need the services you are told you need and ask what you will be charged for a consultation. I never asked and ended up paying for a service really not worth the charge.
