Louie's was so good when i went but i think you should go when its not tourist season. anyways when you get there, ask to sit outside. its so beautiful and the food is delicious!

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended GREAT FOOD THEN...I went to the mens room.My wife and I were there Thursday for a late lunch. The food was great. She had the crab sandwich, I had the seafood Mista dish substituting linguine for the menu's penne. The food and service were perfect. Alejandro waited on us, sincere smiles, perfect attention.My dish had a wonderfully tasty sauce, much better than what I had at the Oak City Grill 2 nights later. The house wines were fine.On our way out I went in the Mens room and saw about 2 dozen misogynist (I hate women) bumper stickers on the tile walls. As in "All Women are Nags, Some Are Better Trophies". Whose idea was this? I see that the people who own Louie also own several T-shirt shops.My wife went to the Ladies; she didn't see such stuff there -- of course.I will upgrade this one star to the 4/5 star the food and service deserves as soon as I see evidence these people are into this century.Hello?UPDATE: Today I got an e-mail Reply to my complaint from Jossette Cline (for Louie) that said Kiss Off in not so many words ('everyone has the right to express their opinion'). JC thinks people are amused with misogynist humor, and lump it if you're not. I think JC needs a new line of work. (1/26/09)
