Northeast Elementary School provides educational programs to more than 750 students in grades one through five. The school has various recreational activities, such as tennis, hockey, magic, games, chess, acting, juggling, pottery, art, robotics, cooking, guitar, hip hop, cartoons, puppets, bedazzling and mask making. Its academic curriculum includes physical education, reading, media and technology, special education, science, English, math, health and social studies. The school has a school advisory council and provides guidance, media center and food services. Additionally, the school has a parent-teacher association that funds various school activities and events. Northeast Elementary School is operated by the Montclair School District and is located in Montclair, N.J.
