This place is a great place for card and board games. Unlike Pegasus or big hobby warehouses, everyone here knows every game on the shelf and can recommend one to you without being pushy. Simply put, you feel like a star, and they will find you something great to play tonight with your family and friends that you would never have found alone on Amazon. And if you really want, they will rent you any game on their shelf for the weekend, and if they sell it, the rental fee will count toward the game purchase! Great location, and great atmosphere!

Gameology is an awesome store with tons of cool merchandise and a friendly staff . It is argueably one of the biggest game stores in the inland empire and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a lot of space to play games and you can even rent games and play with staff if they are free. If you are a Magic the Gathering player, they have events every Friday and sometimes on Sundays also. Yugioh fans will also be pleased to know that they have events every Sunday morning. Gameology's prices are very reasonable and they have tons of hard to find games. You can also rent some time to play Xbox 360 games with a huge screen and surround sound.

In the game desert and no-mans land that is the Inland Empire of Southern California, an oasis has emerged! That oasis is called Gameology. Gameology carries a huge amount of games from the well-known to the very obscure. The owner, David Holt, is an ex-teacher who wanted to share his love of games with the world. The man is very knowledgeable in his field to the point that he can actually aid you in finding the kind of game you like with a few questions about you or who you are buying for. He is always ready to show you how to play any game in question and quite often willing to just sit and partake. If you are a fan of games and discouraged with the lack of resources available in Southern California, make your way to the city of Montclair and indulge in what Gameology has to offer!

(note: this is the same store which had been located in Claremont, on Foothill Boulevard-- they have relocated.)Gameology is my favorite store in the LA area. I come all the way from Westwood to frequent the store and playspace at least once a month. On top of getting very knowledgeable referrals and retail service, they offer the best deal in all of gaming: access to the game library. The library consists of (at least) one copy of every significant board game of the last 10 years-- Puerto Rico, Agricola, Dominion, Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, and more. There's an emphasis on games of the recent European boom, but the more thematic fare of Fantasy Flight Games and their ilk are well-represented as well. The game library is $2 for day-long access, and offers rentals as well. If you decide you like a game after renting it, the rental price will be discounted directly from your purchase price. This is the best way to sample a wide variety of games for a fracti

Most neighborhoods should be grateful for a store that's so well stocked. You have: Traditional board games (Settlers, Race for the Galaxy), RPGs, collectible miniatures, Magic (and more), card games (Munchkin), comics, gaming space, board game rentals (try before you buy), and weekly, active tournaments.

Great selection of Games and a very Inviting store. The staff is pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. They will help you find the right game for yourself or the right gift for others. There is plenty of table space to play board games, card games, miniatures, etc. Not sure if you want to buy a particular game? Check out their impressive Demo Library to help you decide. The also have a comic section; this is a one stop shop. I highly recommend Gameology as a truly Friendly Local Game Store!!!

This is easily the best store in the area due to not only play space but service as well. Unlike many other game/comic shops, the staff at Gameology (esp. Dave the owner) are friendly and professional. They love suggesting titles to you and will work with you to find a game you/your friends/your gift recipient will enjoy. They will also keep you abreast of the latest games. The store carries comics and has tons of play space, probably the most of any store I have been in in the LA/San Bernardino region. They also have a lot of events every week and month, which you can find on their website. All in all this is great store in service, product and play space!

Bored with board games? Goto Gameology. They will show you a whole new world of games that are not difficult to learn, but will engage all participants from those trying to get lucky to those trying to outwit their opponents. Their knowledgeable sales team will share with you all of the great dynamics from each game. I need a larger game cabinet to hold all of my games thanks to Gameology!

I ended up going to Gameology for some Christmas shopping. I thought I'd be left on my own trying to find the games I needed and struggling to look through the shelves but one of the employees there came to the rescue! He was very helpful and pulled all the games from the shelves off my list while offering lots of friendly advice. He answered my questions and made Christmas shopping pleasurable for me. Also, every time I go the people here check and double check when I ask for a game that I don't see on the shelves. Lots of great games available I can't stay away!

Not only is this store a local favorite the owner has created a store where he is addressing the demands of a broad spectrum of gamers. He has set up a room with PCs for LAN or competitive gaming that you might be unable to experience due to limited bandwidth at home. He has tables of the appropriate dimensions for miniature war gaming and terrain for the table. A stack of board games can be played in the store and it's an extensive list with old classics and recent releases. Additionally and most impressively the store allows you to "rent" any of these board games for home play, and the rental fee if you decide to purchase the game, is considered part of the payment for the game. How innovative and agreeable is that! Very.

Gameology is a nice, friendly place where the workers are glad to help you out. Clean with a good atmosphere, it is very inviting, and anyone who frequents the place will find the workers knowing them by name. A great place to go to for comics, board games, MTG, Yugioh, etc.

Gameology is the the Inland Empire's "friendly local game store". The store has comics, CCG tournaments, miniatures, and so forth, but I go there because it's the best place around for boardgames. They have nights when you can rent games in-store for free, or you can always take them home for a couple of days and if you decide to buy the rental fee goes towards your purchase. Twice a month there's all-day open gaming for only $2 per person, including use of the rental games at the store, and the times I've gone have been quite fun. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful (and will play games with you when they can), they generally have a very good selection of "Euro-style" games, and prices are typically around MSRP.

Good place to go. Board games, Card games, Unique games and hard to find games are there. The staff are fun and friendly, they are will to "demo" any game there to show you what that game is all about. Gameology has the latest comics and a theater room with an Xbox 360.
