We have been going to Warm Beginnings & More for almost 4 years and love it... they really treat your kids like their own.. My daughter is now in kindergarten and just received her 9 week report card and she has all A's and 1 B! All thanks to warm beginnings... they have taught my daughter (& son) so much.. I love this place and definitely recommend them..

I had my son going to this daycare for some time. I had been getting bad feelings about this place for some time. I witnessed walking in one morning and the daycare owner screaming at a child in the breakfast room because he wouldn't be quiet. My mom witnessed one of the teachers being rough with a little girl that had Down syndrome. She notified the owner, and nothing was done to the teacher. My son had multiple issues getting bit by the same child, nothing was done about it and there was no policy in place for it. I got a phone call to pick my child up because he "was crying for 30 minutes so he must not be feeling good". I called back to get more information on the situation. Turns out he wanted to have his blanket after nap time and was throwing a fit about not having it like any three year old can do and they said I needed to pick him up because of it since he had been crying for 30 minutes. Not because he "wasn't feeling well". It's just because they didn't want to deal with my child, safe to say this daycare can't be trusted. When I said I didn't appreciate how the situation was handled and I would be finding another daycare the owner Nora decided to threaten me and say I had two weeks to find another daycare. I told her I would be letting everyone know not to use them since they do not know how to handle children or can't even give a child something simple like a BLANKET to soothe them, she then said I had one week left to find another daycare. I wouldn't let my child set foot back in there for another week or day for that matter. Take your kids somewhere they'll actually be cared about.

Dear concern parent, I am sorry you feel that way about the daycare where my son attends. Unfortunately you are the type of person that does not do well with changes as far as friendliness, well the teachers and owner are very friendly and cordial. The smell you are talking about must be the smell the schoolagers bring when they come in from playing outside. The facility is clean and if you don't remember back when the previous owner was in charge, the rooms were not as clean as the state mandates. If you remember the owner was hardly at the center so the teachers did what they wanted to do not keeping in consideration the needs of the children and parents. This new owner is at the center everyday and communicates with us as we come in; morning and afternoon. I am glad you did what you thought it was best for you and your kid but next time I would suggest you communicate with the owner and bring your concerns instead of posting things that are childish.

This childcare center will never be what it was when Kelly Dando was the owner. She was friendly and kind. The new owner is completely opposite. I have also noticed that the center is not as clean as before. The ceiling fans are dusty and it has a weird smell as you walk towards the schoolager room. Overall I would recommend not using this childcare center. The changes have not been positive with the new owner. My child would always get sick and I decided to pull him out because I really think the facility was dirty and that was causing a lot of his sicknesses.
