Dr. Vaiselbuh earned her medical degree at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, after which she trained in several residencies and fellowships, in adult, as well as pediatric hematology-oncology. Dr. Vaiselbuh received international training in the United Kingdom, The Netherlands and Australia before coming to the United States, where she built a foundation in basic science research at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Weill Cornell Medical College, NY studying leukemia cell biology. She completed her pediatric residency at SUNY Downstate, NY, followed by a fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Northwell Health, NY. She brings her 25 years of experience to CMADC focusing on pediatric patient’s preventive health and well-visits from newborns to young adults. As a pediatric hematologist, she specializes in histiocytic disorders (Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, Rosai Dorfman Disease), and benign hematology conditions such as anemia, low platelets, white blood cell disorders, as well as clotting and bleeding disorders. Dr. Vaiselbuh can do a complete diagnostic work-up, eliminating the need for excessive trips to the city for pre-treatment testing. Dr. Vaiselbuh is an active member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Pediatric Hematology Oncology (ASPHO). She organized several symposia and workshops at ASPHO. Dr. Vaiselbuh is also an excellent mentor. Her young mentees include medical students, residents and fellows alike. Her ultimate goal is to deliver an integrated approach to health and well-being. She believes that cure comes from medicine, but healing happens through tender love and care.

It was a great experience I was just filled with knowledge today I would recommend this to any of my family,now we just have to see how well I do on.
