That review left by USCGBM3 is rediculous. He is complaining because he did not like the price that he was given. So he came to this business asked for a quote without providing any Drawings or engineering expecting dean to design him something! He is not a FAB shop, he is a welding shop, you bring him two pieces of metal and he will weld what you need. You bring in a clear idea of what you need done, maybe on paper and he will have a better understanding... Just because you brought your boat down to him and expected results right there and than and when you didnt get the price that you liked you leave a crappy review? And if you did go to another place how come on both review sites you only leave one bad review. You are pathetic!!
My experiance:
I picked up a aluminum Oxygen Tank today for a project I was working on, I needed two Air fitting bungs welded onto it. I called a few other shops that said it would take a couple days. I called up Dean and he told me to come on by.
So i popped into his shop, he was busy working on something that looked very complex, but he automatically came up to me and took my oxygen tank and asked what i needed done. Now silly me i have never had this done before, but he asked me where the Bung's where etc. Since i did not have any, and it would be a hard thing to find a couple aluminum bungs that i could get locally, he said he thought he had something. So we went in back and he found me the bungs i needed. He than proceeded to drill the holes into the tank, than he welded them on. He even gave me a welding helmet so i could watch how he does it, he even talked me through what he was doing (giving me tips on how he is getting such a good weld)
That experiance alone inspired me into wanting to do some welding, so in the near future i plan to experiment with welding a little bit. He made it look so easy.
As you can see from the picture I posted, The Welds came out clean, andI have hooked it up tonight with the correct fittings, and it has fulfilled my purpose for my project!
Thank you dean for an awesome job. I will keep your name for any upcoming project

I had a car part welding project that I took over to Dean's Welding. He's been around for decades and his name pops up a lot in automotive and construction circles.I dropped off my shifter assembly with one of his employees yesterday. I figured I'd call back after a few days, maybe a week, to see if it was ready. Dean himself calls me back this morning in less than 24 hours and the project is done! Wha wha what? I was pleasantly surprised. Dean himself did the work. That's awsome-ness, right there. The best part was the price... half of what I figured it would cost! The work itself was top notch, and Dean went the extra mile and did some finishing/finessing work to make it look nice. The part will easily out live the life of the vehicle. Dean's a cool guy and a helluva welder, no matter what the project is. The owner of the company actually does the work!! That's real deal service, folks. Like the way it used to be, and should still be. 5 STARS all the way around.
