Middlesex Regional Educational Services Commission provides several educational services and programs. It serves more than 4,000 nonpublic school students and offers specialized programs in compensatory education, supplementary instruction, English as a Second Language, home instruction, corrective speech, examination and classification, Title 1, and nursing and textbook services. The organization operates Raritan Valley Academy, which provides the school within a school design for students with behavioral, learning and linguistic disabilities. It provides several academic programs in subjects, such as language arts, English, spelling, handwriting, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, computer science and remedial instruction. The organization offers various clinical support services, including individual and group counseling, life skill courses, anger management, career exploration and responsible parenting.
