Monroe School District 1J offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through 12. Located in Monroe, Ore., the district offers various programs, such as English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. It also provides language arts, reading, writing, spelling, American history, media and technology, and computer and special education programs. Monroe School District 1J additionally offers resource, biology, health education, economics, geometry, career education, algebra, drama, choir, agricultural science, band and accounting programs. It offers a variety of sports programs, such as football, volleyball, basketball and baseball. The district also implements the federal No Child Left Behind Act in every school.
