Worst bank ever, terrible customer service, manager in Monroe branch out right lied and then expected useless staff to take care of it, issue didn't get taken care of until I spent a hour on hold including getting hung up on. Avoid this bank at all costs they only care about profit not customer service

I gave it one star because I couldn't give it 0 stars. This is the worse bank I have ever been associated with in my life and I have been using a bank for approximately 55 years. Since Provident merged with Sterling it has been a total and complete disaster. I have not been able to do anything with my account online since Dec. 7 and corporate really doesn't seem to care. I am in process of changing banks and am just posting this to warn people to seriously consider another bank if you are looking to use Sterling. People have been leaving the bank on a regular basis since Nov. 7th due to the fact that they cannot access their accounts or transfer money etc. Totally irresponsible on the part of Sterling. This may be an indication of things yet to come.
