Founded in 1917, St. John the Baptist Catholic School serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school offers physical education, music, art and computer technology programs. It provides classes in language arts, social studies, mathematics, science and religious education. St. John the Baptist Catholic School also offers various opportunities to participate in sports activities, such as soccer, football and volleyball. It provides transportation services, as well as lunch programs. The school is accredited by the Michigan Non-Public Schools Accrediting Association. It additionally provides an accelerated reader program that is used to monitor and guide reading practices and help students in improving their reading skills.
